MERC Global's Publications

PEER-REVIEW POLICY

  • The MERC Global aims at rapid publication of manuscripts while maintaining rigorous peer-review process, each manuscript submitted to MERC Global for publication is primarily examined by the executive editor of the journal, and then forwarded for two blind peer-reviews by two individual reviewers. In blind peer-review, both the reviewer and the author remain anonymous.

  • The MERC Global aims to take a first decision about all manuscripts submitted for publication within one month. Even rejection of the manuscript may be quicker. The usual reasons for rejection at the initial level are insufficient originality, or not substantial contribution to the knowledge of readers in both the aspects theoretical as well as practical, or editor thinks that journal for which the manuscript is submitted not the appropriate journal.

  • The manuscripts shall be published subject to recommendations of reviewers. The review process may take up to one month (minimum). The MERC Global aims to reach at final decision on publication within 2 months of submission for all articles. The final decision on acceptance of the manuscript is with the editor/editorial board of the particular journal. Accepted manuscript will be put in queue for publication.

  • The author(s) shall be informed about the selection/rejection of the manuscript by email only. However, the journal shall publish the manuscript of the author(s) completing the formalities in due time mentioned in the acceptance letter. In case of acceptance of the manuscript and completion of publication formalities by the author(s), the journal reserves the right of making amendments in the final draft of the manuscript to fit the journal's requirement.
